For 2010 I am happy to be offering the finest trout rivers in Montana for your fly fishing vacation. Come and see what the best Montana Fly Fishing guides and waters in the state have to offer the adventurous angler. Read my summary of how the season will unfold, find a style you like and come and see us here in Twin Bridges, Montana.
I start off my Montana fly fishing season in June bouncing around the run off, mostly we will fish the Big Hole River often chasing the Salmon Fly hatch and the lesser known Golden Stone Hatch that comes off through the month, this will bring us some of the seasons best big bug dry fly action for Brown trout and Rainbow trout. Streamer fishing has been very productive during this early season as well.
July brings the best of the PMD hatch on the Beaverhead river, head hunting has never been so good. The Madison River will be having it’s Salmon Fly by now and is always worth a run over to Ennis. By late July we are fishing the beloved jewel of my trout fishing world the Jefferson River and the rotation of big bug terrestrial fishing begins, with weekly days to the Beaverhead River and Big Hole River for Hopper and mayfly action.
August and September will be rounded out with big ass terrestrials and streamers on the Jefferson River and thrown in are the MOTH days on the Big Hole River. If you have never seen a Moth fall it is a spectacular sight. Following the Moth is some tiny bug action if you are up to the challenge. Finally rounding out the season by late September with nymphing and mid day terrestrials and good fishing temps on all the rivers in the area.
Pick your fly fishing adventure, and make a trip to Montana and fish with Jeff on these western rivers.

My wife and I began fly fishing about six years ago, primarily fishing the Yakima River. We met Jeff Brazda when we first started on the Yakima and he was the first guide we ever hired, to teach our boy's how to fish. Since our initial meeting and our numerous fishing experiences, we have become good friends.
We have fished other guides /services both in Yakima, Missoula and the Twin Bridges area and Jeff is truly one of the best. This summer, Jeff guided out of Twin Bridges, Montana.. My wife and I have very busy schedules and had a window to travel to Jeff and fish a few days. Now I don't know about you, but a thirteen hundred mile roundtrip drive to Twin Bridges, Mt. for two day of fishing is a stretch, not a lot of time to recover if you have a so-so day on the river. For sure, you need to have confidence in who is meeting your on the other end and know they are solid. But we knew that if Jeff Brazda was waiting for us at our destination, the drive would be well worth it. And it was, my wife and I both landed many as well as the largest fish either of us have ever caught, 20" plus fish are a fantastic experience. Jeff's knowledge of the various species, as well as their environments is really something. I learn more and more each time I fish with him.
We hope to fish trout with Jeff again on our home waters, the Yakima before the summer ends but if not, we know the steelhead are just a few weeks/months away. And we could not think of a a better guide to fish with than Jeff Brazda. Do yourself a favor, call him and set up a trip!"
