Wow a double on Permit that sound awesome, we seen a bunch at a time but they were on the fast move not feeding and did not allow any cast at all most of the time. We did see a few feeding when in the boats but I was not fishing at the time just watching but ready to back up. I caught a Snook and many bonefish the first day and lost a Permit on my first shot at one the same day, would that have been a slam?
I may have access to a boat down there now so the Bay of Chetamahl is open to explore, San Pedro sounds great!

Nice work there Jeff. I remember 2 years ago when I touched into my first bonefish and last year, just as vividly, a double on permit with my dad. Those fish are just freaking unreal and have the ability to revitalize your spirit when it’s shitty weather back home.

Belize…you need to try San Pedro….one of the best area’s in the world for the grand slam. I was only able to get 2/3rds of it last year

MT is great fishing this season, water levels are good and look to be improving with periodic rain, the best thing is dry fly action is awesome in the rain and the streamer action is following suit!

you have had a tough few mounths with rods. I am excited to see/try the new Targus Rods. Hows MT? Looking like I’ll be up there 2nd week in August.
