Incredible Alaska Fly Fishing
Opportunity 2008
"If
you had to pick one trip to see Alaska this would be it.
I have done 3 trips with B.O.A. and will be doing another
trip with them next year. When you find a good thing you
stick with it." Wade.
Jeff Brazda is
proud to announce the opportunity to host a week of awesome
fly fishing for Rainbow Trout in Katmai National
Park Alaska. We
have space for up to six anglers for this week. |

This is a fully
guided float trip down the most productive rainbow trout rivers
in Alaska in June 2008. I will
be booking clients for every week following as well. The fishing
in June is a rainbow trout fishery that is best done swinging
with small speys or 6-8 wt single hand rods. The trout are voraciously
feeding on smolt and fry as they travel out to the ocean. Trout
visciously attack a swung or stripped jumbo leach pattern,
sculpins and smolt or fry patterns. Other
species available; Grayling, Dolly Varden, Lake trout, and all
five species of salmon.
Salmon are available as early as July when
spring kings arrive and will be fished to with 8-10 wt spey rods
and larger single hand rods. July also brings on a Sockeye
run that rivals the greatest spectacles of nature. The
professional guides at Borealis Outdoor Adventure. have discovered
a method of fly fishing that actually makes the sockeye bite
the fly instead of run into it and snag themselves (there is
a huge difference).
This Alaska Fly fishing trip is a real
outdoor adventure with five star meals and rugged yet very
accommodating tent lodging. Owner operator
Christian Elwell, is your host, head guide and chef. He serves
nothing but the finest meals - from fresh
Alaskan seafood to authentic ethnic dishes he covers all the
bases of unbelievably wonderful cuisine. You will be staying in 6 man tents
per two anglers with cots and air mattresses. Two clients to
each guide will ensure personal and professional assistance.
You will be picked up by float plane in King Salmon, Alaska
and flown to a remote lake where your fishing adventure begins.
You will NEVER fish the same water twice. Each day you will float
and fish a new section of river experiencing everything that
Alaska has to offer. You will see wildlife like never before,
from the safety of your guided raft.
2008 Cost of trip : $4500
per person, group rate available.
Float plane charges may have changed slightly we don’t
know exactly till we get closer to season. These next three weeks
are the best Rainbow fishing known in the USA, for hard hitting
